Mommy of the Month-May

Mommy of the Month-May

Happy Mothers Day to all you awesome and amazing mothers out there!!! I hope your day was full of love and that you woke up to no laundry, no dishes, and no cleaning....yeah right I know but if anyone found the secret mothers day fairy who grants these wishes please send them my way!

I know we must be realistic and know that our day as a mother never ends and that one day isn't enough to honor mothers and let them know how truly great they are but I hope that just for one day you mommies got treated like the queen you deserve to be treated like... well everyday!!!

Feel free to comment below what you did for Mother's Day or if you have any special traditions... I know my children and husband made me breakfast which resulted in a huge wonderful disaster in the kitchen but oh well right... I am grateful for the fact that one..my husband at least remembered what today is..and two...that he tried to have the children show me they loved me as well.

So I wasn't sure what submission to use for this months Mommy so I decided I would nominate the Mommy of the Month for May to my niece Jessica! Plus, it scores me some brownie points as best Aunt ever...haha... So Jessica I would like to say, "I'm so proud of you and the woman you've become, Congratulations on graduating from Arizona State University. Best wishes in your career."

To Jessica from her mother Dena:

"Dearest Jessica, I am so proud of you and all the hard work you have put into school and your job. Being a mother as well is no easy task but you are an amazing mother to Weston and I'm sorry I don't tell you enough. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you now. You are such a caring person and have always helped out with anything I've asked of you with your younger siblings. Even though your sister and brothers may not always say it they love you too and look up to you... or down to you depending on height ...haha."

So I had to steal this post from Jessica's Facebook cause I didn't even know how long she had been in school I know it's felt like forever and I know there's so much more she's gone through in life but she is one of the strongest gal's I know for sure...but here's from Jessica on graduation:

Happy Mothers Day Jessica!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies again!
