Kelli- "I would like to nominate my niece Mykayla Pettway for mommy of the month.. . Yes i will admit I may be a bit bias when it comes to her because I've been with her pretty much her entire life.. I've watched her grow and become the amazing woman she is today.
This is her first baby and she has had some huge obstacles since she conceived.. At 26 weeks she was rear ended and went into pre-term labor... luckily the Doctor was able to stop her from delivering that day but it was a very scary time for a 1st time momma... this lead her to a road of discomfort and many other trips to the ER as she continued to contract for the duration of her pregnancy... At 36 weeks she went to crawl into bed and her water broke.. Baby boy was not waiting anymore he ended up being in the NICU for some complications from being a month early. After 2 weeks he was finally able to come home..
Today he is over a couple months old and brings us all so much joy. Watching my niece care for her little chunky monkey melts my heart every day. Seeing her become a momma has been some of the best moments of watching her grow...
